Monday is Martin Luther King Day and there is no school.  The EHS closes at 3:00 that day.

Upcoming Events for SPEECH

Students have been communicating with their coaches regarding practices over break.  When we return to school on January 9th we will return to the familiar schedule.  Please look here for weekly updates regarding practices, meetings, and tournament information.

Important Date:
Parent/Student Meeting: January 17th @6PM in room 383 of the EHS.
This meeting is for everyone involved with speech.  We will go over the tournament for the weekend and expectations.  We will talk about judges training for parents interested in judging for the team and other ways families can be involved!

Chanhassen Tournament: January 23rd.  Registration for the tournament finalized no later than January 17th.

You were given tournament commitment forms and they need to be returned to your coaches.  Several students have not returned them and we would like them no later than January 12th.  IF you have misplaced yours they are located on the right side of the blog.

December 22nd Practice

Coaches will be holding practice based on what they have set up with you.

Elizabeth - Room 316 6-8PM (all who have questions are more than welcome to stop in at this time)
L.J. - Room 315 times and days set with students

After break there will be a weekly posting regarding when you are practicing with your coach.

Team Meeting on Thursday

We will have a brief (15 min) team meeting on Thursday in room 316 at 6:00.  Most of us are practicing at this time so you are there at that time anyway.

We will be discussing tournament information and team apparel.
