Format: Three rounds with finals
All students (varsity and novice) will compete together as one tournament. Novice participants are eligible for varsity finals, but also for novice finals, which will be determined similarly to honors finals. There will be no honors finals, but honorable mentions will be awarded.
Draw Categories:
Extemp. Reading Prose- ODDs (students cannot repeat a cutting from their preliminary rounds in finals)
Extemp. Reading Poems 1-20 (students cannot repeat a cutting from their preliminary rounds in finals)
Storytelling Stories 1-10 (students can repeat a story from their preliminary rounds in finals)
Food: Concessions will be available in the Commons area throughout the day. Food will be provided for coaches and judges in the lounge.
