• Students can register in up to three events with a couple restrictions
• Students in draw events (DX, ER, IX, ST) can be registered in two non-draw events as well but not two draw events due to schedule constraints.
• Students in Discussion can be registered in one non-draw event due to schedule constraints.
• Impromptu is not considered a draw event since it is an in-room draw event with a running clock.

Tournament format:

• Three prelims and then all events will break to Semifinals.
• Events with large entry pools will have three sections of Semifinals, advancing the top two from each to Finals.
• Events with smaller entry pools will have two sections of Semifinals, advancing the top three from each to Finals.

We met today as a team and spoke about some of the things that we needed moving forward into this next season of competition.  This is when it gets hard and when we have to work even harder.  Today after we met I saw some amazing work happening in various rooms and hallways.  That is what a team ready to compete should look like!

EXPECTATIONS:

These are the expectations moving forward! If you do not comply with the expectations you may loose your spot on the sections or NFL team.  We have limited spots on these rosters and want to make sure that people are willing to commit if given a spot. 

1) Sign up for three practice sessions a week with a coach. (EXTEMP SPEAKING has different schedule)

2) Meet with at least two different coaches a week.

3) Complete all assigned tasks prior to meeting with a coach.
