Important Notes:
All students will be timed during the this tournament.  Please make sure you do one practice with timers so you aren't surprised Friday.

All scripted events must turn in on Thursday night to Elizabeth at practice or you will not be able to compete the following day.  We have discussed what needs to be turned in at the workshop prior to spring break so there should not be any questions.  ***If you turned in materials to the National Qualifier you will need to complete it again***  I have your sources that I will return to you on Monday.

Public Address Events:
Great Speeches - A clean printed copy of your piece that clearly states where speech was found.  Remember you must state during your piece where you found and took your great speech from.

Info - A clean printed copy of your piece with bibliography in MLA on a separate sheet.  Remember all visuals MUST have sources visual to the audience from their seats.

Oratory - A clean printed copy of your piece with bibliography in MLA on a separate sheet.  You also need a word count of quoted material.

Interp Events:
HI, DI, DUO, PR - A clean printed off script.  You also need photocopies of original pages used from your source.  Then you must underline or highlight each word used in the script and place pages in order that they were used.  If you replaced a word do to profanity you must cross it out and write in the word used.  All transitional words added must also be written in where they are inserted.

Poetry -A clean printed off script.  You also need photocopies of original pages used from your source.  Then you must underline or highlight each word used in the script and place pages in order that they were used.  If you replaced a word do to profanity you must cross it out and write in the word used.  All transitional words added must also be written in where they are inserted.  ****You must also say each author and title in your intro.  Your intro is apart of the clean copy and must be typed out****

Draw Events - Nothing will need to be turned in but please know the rules about talking to others once you have drawn and use of electronics.

You should all be familiar with the rules of your events and the link provided will take you to the most updated material.  Scroll to the bottom and find rules and policies.
