Tournament Attire

Speech competitors  are judged the moment we walk into the building.  How you carry yourself in the round will be as important as what is happening during the down time.  You will need to stay in tournament attire through the entire tournament. 

Boys

• Nice dress pants
• Blue or Black preferred
• No Jeans

• Dress shirt or sweater
• Ties
• No T-shirts
• Suit Coats will be worn frequently but not manditory

• Nice looking shoes. 

Girls

• Pants or skirts
• No Jeans
• Pants should be dress slacks Black or Blue preferred.
• Skirts should no shorter then two inches above the knee
• Nylons are a must if you wear skirts

• Shoes
• Heels will be worn frequently, but they are professional attire and not ones that would be worn at a party.  
• Remember these will be worn all day and performed in
• Closed toed are preferred

• Tops
• Suit coats will be worn frequently but are not manditory
• No tank straps
• accessories worn to match your professionalism

• Hair
• Your hair should be neat and out of your face.
